Hallmark Holiday
Posted in Relationships on February 15th, 2010Valentine’s day seems to be overrated. When I was younger I was so jealous when everyone around me was getting presents and flowers, and I didn’t get anything. I felt so alone. And then I finally get a boyfriend, and the bad run continues. But, I did get some acne gel, which got rid of my pimples, so at least I felt pretty, lol.
What did we do? Nothing special. Went to dinner at Macaroni Grill. Last year we couldn’t get in because Eamon forgot to get a reservation, so at least this year he remembered. But our waitress acted like she expected him to give her a good tip since he’s supposed to impress me, so it didn’t matter how she talked to us. It was a bit insulting. Then they bring out the food super fast, but it was COLD. I’ve never wanted to send a dish back before, but it wasn’t even mildly warm. But, I held my tongue and ate it. Never again going back there.
We also rented Surrogates, which was an ok movie. Kind of predictable, but then again, what movie in that genre isn’t? And, he got me a present:

An eternity band.
But he bought it 2 months ago and was trying to sell it on EBay. Oh well, it’s still pretty, and it’s all he can afford right now. How sweet! lol

That ring is gorgeous, what a sweet gift
I heard Macaroni Grill was supposed to have good food, I’m sorry your experience wasn’t as good as it should’ve been. But at least you got to spend it with your boyfriend, and that’s the most important part.
